SUTTON & CO. IS PROUD TO BE CELEBRATING IT'S 30th ANNIVERSARY IN 2008!

Along the way, we’ve certainly toasted milestone years with fun parties and events. In 1988, the 10th Anniversary was feted with a Boat Cruise around the Toronto harbour. Our 15th Anniversary was celebrated with a party at the brand new Hockey Hall of Fame, where over 200 hundred guests took pictures with the Stanley Cup and enjoyed typical hockey game treats like hot dogs and ice cream.

In 1998, we went back to a more formal event. Roy Thomson Hall was the site for our gala to toast our Platinum Anniversary. Our guests enjoyed the sounds of a Jazz quartet, with fine food and drinks, at the home of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.


Our 25th Anniversary was likely our most unique party, and certainly our most popular. We actually had line-ups to get in! We invited clients and their families to join us and all of the Maple Leaf captains from our 25 year history for a skate at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Guests were also able to tour the Maple Leaf dressing room.

To be here 30 years later, and still growing, is certainly something to be proud of. But we owe a great deal of gratitude to our clients and friends who have supported us and entrusted us with their business over the past three decades.

Bill and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of you.

OUR LIFE CAPABILITIES

While the majority of our products since our inception in 1978 have been more Accident & Health based, we have increased our Life capabilities over the last few years and it is one of our fastest growing classes.

Expatriate Term Life
We are now able to offer Term Life coverage to Canadian and American expatriates and as well as International employees of Canadian and American companies.  This new capacity is quite flexible and can accommodate a wide variety of needs. 

High sums insured can be offered as we can write up to $3,000,000 per person in either Canadian or US dollars.  Coverage is available for both individual and group risks. A Free Cover Limit will be provided under most group plans, allowing employers to offer a basic amount of coverage without medical underwriting requirements.

Short terms are not a problem, and individual contracts can provide lengthy policy terms of up to 10 years.

Coverage is available in all locations around the world, and War Risk can be included either directly under the Life policy, or on a supplemental basis, through our AD&D facilities.

International High Net Worth Life
High Net Worth individuals often have holdings that are complex and spread across numerous jurisdictions, each with its own limitations. Confidential Life
This unique insurance provides protection for anyone with a legitimate financial interest in an individual.  This insurance is taken out for the key talent’s contractual value, without the knowledge of the person insured, and thus without any medical underwriting.
 
If you have a financial interest through a contractual obligation, this insurance can help you protect that interest. Such relationships exist with employers and senior executives, teams and their key players, record companies and their top artists. Failure to meet contractual obligations due to the death of this key person can bring significant cost.

In some circumstances, it is not possible to get traditional life insurance.

This product is also available as an interim measure, while medical information is being assembled and underwritten for a traditional life policy.

This product is available from one day up to 24 months.
